The bridges are cut away so the train, the escapement and the balance stay visible from the moment you glance at the wrist.

Finished by hand

Perlage on the plate, Geneva stripes on the bridges, polished bevels on every edge. Each calibre takes a week at the bench.

    About Orrery

    A small atelier for
    watches that show their work.

Orrery was started by a handful of watchmakers who wanted to build the thing they kept admiring in museums: a movement you can follow with your eyes, wheel by wheel, from the barrel to the balance.

We make one family of watches. Every case is turned and polished in house, every plate is finished by hand, and every watch is regulated on the bench for a week before it leaves the atelier.

We keep the range small on purpose. Ten references, five families, a handful of metals. It means each one gets the time it needs, and it means we can service every watch we have ever made.
